People who use assertive communication techniques clearly and respectfully communicate their wants, needs, positions, and boundaries to others. Assertive communication can improve self-esteem.
By being assertive, you will start to build your confidence, self-respect and resolve conflicts in a healthy way. Assertiveness allows you to express anger constructively and overcome your inhibitions.
